It comes as no surprise to all of us that with the Holidays come a variety of emotions. We reflect on memories of the good times from the past, we grieve those we've lost and make the best of our present situations. With all this, it's a relief to know that God loves us and fully accepts us where we are. Knowing this we are free to love and be loved. I pray the scriptures and videos that follow will be a source of joy and peace!
Prayer to God
I am grateful for your unending love for me. Give me the assurance of knowing that whatever the circumstance I find myself in you are always there with me to see me through and guide me. Thank you for sending your son as a sacrifice for all mankind.

Ponder the Scripture
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Hebrews 4:16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Acts 20:28 Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.
Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
1Peter 1:8-9 Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
Isaiah 26:3 You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.
Romans 5:1-5 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
